How to Use

First-time use

If you're new to Sleep Glycolic, we recommend a patch test at least 24 hours before first use. Learn how to patch test here.

Apply once and note the skin’s response, then use 2-3 times per week.

Step 1

After cleansing in the evening, smooth a pea-sized amount of Sleep Glycolic onto the face, neck and décolletage - avoiding the eye area. Some slight skin tingling is normal.

Step 2

Follow with other serums and night moisturiser. Leave on overnight. As Sleep Glycolic is directly active on your skin, it should be the second step in your evening skincare routine (after cleansing). Layer all other serums and moisturisers on top.

Step 3

Always wear sunscreen the next day after using Sleep Glycolic. We recommend Advanced Day Ultimate Protect.

10% Active Glycolic Acid

With the smallest particle size of all the AHAs, glycolic acid is the most powerful. It works to break down the bonds between dead skin cells, so they can be easily exfoliated away to reveal fresher, newer skin cells beneath. The result is visibly brighter, smoother and decongested skin. This active is contained within a cyclodextrin-based shell (pronounced 'sy-clo-DEXtrin'). This ensures its gradual release into the skin overnight to prevent irritation while prolonging the visible effects.

Korean Clover Extract

Works alongside glycolic acid to support the skin’s natural overnight repair and hydration processes. It also helps to maintain the natural skin barrier; reducing the potential for irritation.

What's the difference between Sleep Glycolic and Press & Glow?
Press & Glow is an everyday exfoliating toner for bright, glowing skin that fits effortlessly into every skincare routine. Sleep Glycolic is a more intense treatment for advanced signs of ageing or stubborn skin concerns; designed to be used a couple of times a week. It is also ideal for prepping the skin for an event (wedding, party etc). You do not need to use Press & Glow on days you use Sleep Glycolic.
Can you use Sleep Glycolic with other exfoliating acids like Press & Glow or Press & Clear?
No. We don't recommend layering exfoliating acids on top of one another. Simply switch out your everyday exfoliating acid (such as Press & Glow) on the days you want to use Sleep Glycolic in your evening routine. For example, you can use Press & Glow in your AM regime, Sleep Glycolic in the PM, then Press & Glow in the following AM regime.
"Can I use Sleep Glycolic alongside a wash-off acid cleanser? "
Yes. Sleep Glycolic can be used alongside wash-off cleansers that contain acids such as Surface Radiance Cleanse.
