Terms & Conditions

By opening an Account or participating in the programme You agree to: 

i) these Terms & Conditions;  

ii) Terms of service; and 

iii)Privacy Policy

In these Terms & Conditions the following words have the following meanings: 

“Account” means an individuals medik8.com account;  

“Discount Code” means the discount code provided to Referral Customers;

You / Your” means new and existing Account holders;

“Me&Medik8 Points” means points allocated to Your Account; 

“Referral Customer(s)” means a Referrer’s friends or family who has not previously shopped on medik8.com and to whom the Referrer shares their unique link;

“Referral Link” means the unique referral link we provide to Referrers; 

“Referrer(s)” means an Account holder.

About  Me&Medik8 Points

Your Account will be auto enrolled to the programme (You can opt out at any time).

Me&Medik8 Points are allocated to Accounts for:

purchases;

referring a friend who then makes a purchase; 

signing up to our newsletters;

buying refills; 

leaving a review;

creating an account; or

following us on instagram.

How You can use Me&Medik8 Points

Points unlock vouchers in Your Account; 

Vouchers can be redeemed for discount codes;

Discount codes can be entered (one per transaction) when you checkout on medik8.com.

How You can earn additional benefits 

We also reward loyal Accounts with our tier system; 

Your Account becomes Crystal on Your first purchase;

To unlock Crystal Plus Your Account will need to spend £150 within 12 months of becoming Crystal;

To unlock Crystal Deluxe Your Account will need to spend £500 within 12 months of becoming Crystal Plus;

Your tier status will remain on Your Account for 12 months from the day You reach Your tier status.

About Refer a Friend

How Referrers can earn Me&Medik8 Points

Share Your Referral Link with eligible Referral Customers;

Eligible Referral Customers must i) click on the Referral Link, ii) place an order on medik8.com and iii) apply the Discount Code to their basket;

Points will show as pending on Your account and be allocated within thirty (30) days of completion of a Referral Customer purchase; 

Referrers can refer as many Referral Customers as they like; 

If Referral Customers make multiple cancellations we may disqualify the Referrer from the programme; 

Referrers only earn points once eligible Referral Customer use the Referral Link to place an order on medik8.com;

Referrer points will be credited to their Accounts automatically. 

How Referral Customers get the Discount Code 

To be eligible to participate, Referral Customers must be new customers (this means they cannot have an existing Account or have previously had an Account under an alternate email address or alias);

Use the Referral Link to place an order on medik8.com and apply the Discount Code to the basket during the same session;

The Discount Code will be applied to the Referral Customer’s first order and is valid for a one-time use only.

Eligibility for the Me&Medik8 rewards programme

Our programme is only open to:

United Kingdom residents who are at least eighteen years old;

consumers (not businesses); 

Account holders, Referrers and Referral Customers who meet the eligibility requirements and accept and comply with the terms and conditions.

Our programme is not valid: 

or offered to businesses for affiliate lead generation, as determined in our sole discretion;

in conjunction with (i) other offers or promo codes (ii) any bundle products/gifts that already have a discount applied (iii) products that are already discounted or on offer. 

In the event a Referral Customer returns a purchased item or cancels an order (in accordance with the terms and conditions of purchase), the Discount Code awarded to the Referral Customer will become invalid and no replacement Discount Code will be provided and any associated Me&Medik8 Points may be invalidated. Discount Codes cannot be claimed by Referrers.

In the event an Account holder returns a purchased item or cancels an order (in accordance with the terms and conditions of purchase), any pending Me&Medik8 Points awarded in connection with the cancellation or return will be deducted.

Any misuse of this programme, as determined by us in our sole discretion, may result in the invalidation of a Discount Code and/or a Referral Reward and/or Me&Medik8 Points and/or disqualification from the programme.

Me&Medik8 Points and Discount Code 

Me&Medik8 Points and Discount Codes are non-transferable, not valid for cash or cash equivalent.  Where applicable other discount codes or offers cannot be redeemed in the same transaction. Discount Codes may only be redeemed against products purchased on medik8.com and may not be applied to any prior purchases, taxes, shipping and delivery charges, or toward the purchase of gift cards. Upon termination of the programme or any portion thereof for any reason, or upon cancellation of a customer's Account for any reason, any unredeemed Discount Codes and or Me&Medik8 Points  accumulated may be forfeited at our sole discretion. Any unused Discount Codes or Me&Medik8 Points  will expire after 24 months.

Follow the Rules

We reserve the right to review, investigate, and disqualify any Accounts where Me&Medik8 Points or Discount Codes have been awarded in circumstances that violates the spirit of this programme, such as attempting to gain a Discount Code through self-referral by using a different email address, or distributing a Referral Link via commercial advertising. We may delay or suspend delivery of any Discount Codes or eligibility for Me&Medik8 Points  for the purposes of investigation and may refuse to verify and process any transaction for any reason. If a Referral Customer subsequently cancels and/or returns an order, any related pending Me&Medik8 Points will be deducted and any Discount Code may be withdrawn or deemed invalid at our sole discretion.

Privacy

Any personal information collected, processed, and used as part of our programme, including that of the Account holder, Referrer and Referral Customer, will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Referrers may receive emails confirming when they become eligible for Me&Medik8 Points. By clicking on a Referral Link, the Referral Customer acknowledges that some of their personal information may be sent to the Referrer who provided the Referral Link as confirmation of the Referral Customer making a purchase. Accordingly Referral Customers should only use a Referral Link that they receive from someone whom they personally know and trust.

Our Right to Close Accounts

We reserve the right at our sole discretion to disqualify from the programme and or close the Account(s) of any Account holder that: attempts to use this programme in a unreasonable manner (as determined in our sole discretion);breaches any of these Terms & Conditions;is tampering with the operation of this programme; is in violation of any law, statute or governmental regulation or third party rights.

Upon disqualification from the programme or closure of a customer's Account for any reason, any unredeemed Me&Medik8 Points and or Discount Codes may be forfeited at our sole discretion. All of our decisions are final and binding, including, without limitation, decisions as to whether a Referral Customer is eligible for a Discount Code or an Account holder is eligible for Me&Medik8 Points.

Right to Cancel program or Change Terms

We reserve the right to cancel this programme or to change these Terms & Conditions at any time at our  sole discretion. However, this will not affect the usage of any existing eligible Me&Medik8 Points or Discount Code.

Further Terms

We are not responsible for errors, omissions, malfunctions, interruptions, corruption, deletions, delays or failures of operations or the software providing this programme. We may amend these terms and conditions from time to time so please check in for updates. 

Bulk email distribution, distribution to strangers, or any other promotion of a Referral Link in a manner that would constitute or appear to constitute an unsolicited commercial email or "spam", in our sole discretion, is expressly prohibited and may be grounds for immediate termination of an Account and deactivation of the Referral Link.

You indemnify us for any claims or legal proceedings that may be brought against us and for any loss or damage we may suffer or incur as a result of your breach of these Terms and Conditions. 

We will not be liable to you for any financial or economic loss or for any consequential or indirect loss such as loss to reputation, lost bargain, lost profit, loss of anticipated savings, loss of Me&Medik8 Points, loss of Discount Codes or lost opportunity arising as a result of or connected with, this programme (whether suffered or incurred as a result of our negligence or otherwise) except where such exclusion is prohibited by law in which case it shall not be excluded or limited. Subject to the preceding sentence, our liability to you for all losses in connection with this programme is limited to the equivalent monetary value of your eligible Me&Medik8 Points or Discount Code. No claim may be brought against us more than 12 months after any claim arose. You agree that the above limitations and exclusions of liability are reasonable. Your statutory rights will not be excluded or limited except to the extent permitted by law.

By entering this programme, all participants will be deemed to have read, accepted, and be bound by these Terms and Conditions, Terms of service, and Privacy Policy.

What is Me&Medik8?

Me&Medik8 is our new rewards programme, where we reward you for your loyalty to Medik8. You’ll earn points as you purchase on Medik8.com as well as for other activities such as referring your friends, signing up to our newsletters and, of course, for your birthday. As you collect your points, you’ll redeem discount codes for your future orders and work your way up our tier scheme to unlock a whole host of additional benefits! It’s simple: the more you spend, the more you save.

Who can participate?

Anyone with an existing account with Medik8.com is automatically enrolled, and new customers will need to create an account in order to enrol.

How do I earn points?

You’ll earn 1 point per £1 you spend, which you will receive 30 days after your order date. You can also collect points for referring friends, leaving product reviews, signing up to the newsletter and much more.

How do I redeem my points?

Once you have enough points to qualify for a reward, log in to your account and navigate your way to the Me&Medik8 web page . Scroll down to the 'Redeem Rewards' section, where you’ll be able to exchange your points for a discount code. Your points must be converted into discount codes before they can be redeemed at checkout. Please note only one discount code can be used per order, including other promotions that might be running at that time.

Can I use my discount codes with any other promotion?

Why are my Me&Medik8 Points showing as ‘pending’?

Me&Medik8 Points will remain ‘pending’’ until your friend or family member has used Your unique referral link to place their first order.

What do the 'approved', 'pending' and 'cancelled' points statuses mean?

When logged in, the Me&Medik8 web page  has a summary of your activity history including points collection and spend, with a status for each activity.

Approved: These points can be redeemed for discount codes immediately.

Pending: These points must be verified before they can be redeemed. This typically applies to purchases, referrals or reviews.

Cancelled: These points will not be added to your account. For example, if you cancel a purchase the points will change from pending to cancelled.

Do I get my points back if I return my order?

Yes if every item in your order is returned and the whole amount refunded then the points go back into your account automatically. No if you only return part of an order,  you won't get your points back.

Can I exchange or return my birthday gift?

Please note that any birthday gift rewarded as part of the Me&Medik8 programme once redeemed is non-refundable, non-transferrable and cannot be exchanged. If there are any problems regarding your gift, please contact our Customer Care Team at hello@medik8.com.

What is Refer a Friend?

For every successful referral, the Referrer will be eligible for Me&Medik8 Points and the Referral Customer will receive a  discount code that may be redeemed against their first order.

How do I receive my Me&Medik8 Points when my friend has made their first order?

Visit the Me&Medik8 web page and make sure to log in. Once you are logged in you’ll see the balance of your Me&Medik8 Points. Please allow some time for your account to update, if you have not received your Me&Medik8 Points more than 30 days after your friend has made their purchase please contact hello@medik8.com.

Is there a limit to how many friends or family members I can refer?

No. Go ahead and earn as many Me&Medik8 Points as you can as long as these are genuine referrals and your Referral Customer is eligible.

What happens if a friend or family member I refer cancels or returns their order within 30 days?

Any pending Me&Medik8 Points will be deducted.

I completed an activity but didn't earn Me&Medik8 Points

It can take some time for us to process your activity and for your Me&Medik8 Points to be verified.

How do I leave the programme?

If you no longer wish to participate, please contact us on hello@medik8.com and ask to be unenrolled. We'll unenroll you and you will lose any Me&Medik8 Points, available discount codes and benefits.

What happens if I leave and decide to join again?

Just contact us on hello@medik8.com and we'll re-enroll you. However, you will have lost any previous Me&Medik8 Points, discount codes and benefits.
