What is Me&Medik8?

Me&Medik8 is our rewards programme, designed to recognise and reward your commitment to your routine. Earn points every time you shop on Medik8.com, as well as by referring friends, subscribing to our newsletter and celebrating your birthday. As your points grow, convert them into voichers to redeem for money off future purchases. The more you shop, the more you unlock. Simply earn, redeem and progress through our reward tiers to elevate your experience.

Who can participate?

Anyone with a Medik8.com account is eligible to participate. New customers can create an account to join the programme.

How do I earn points?

You'll earn 1 point for every £1 spent on Medik8.com, with points credited to your account 30 days after your order. You can also build your points balance by referring friends, leaving product reviews, subscribing to our newsletter and more.

What do the 'approved', 'pending' and 'cancelled' points statuses mean?

When logged in, your Me&Medik8 account page shows a clear overview of your activity, including points earned and redeemed, with a status assigned to each.

Approved: These points can be redeemed for vouchers immediately.

Pending: These points must be verified before they can be redeemed. This typically applies to purchases, referrals and reviews.

Cancelled: These points will not be added to your account. For example, if an order is cancelled, the associated points will change from pending to cancelled.

How do I redeem my points?

Once you have collected enough points to qualify for a reward, simply log into your Me&Medik8 account. Scroll to the 'Redeem Rewards' section to convert your pints into a voucher, ready to use at checkout. Please note, points must be converted into a voucher before they can be redeemed. Only one voucher can be used per order and cannot be combined with any other offer.

Can I use my discount codes with any other promotion?

Please note, only one discount code can be used per order and cannot be used in conjuction with any other promotion.

What is Refer a Friend?

When you refer a friend, you'll earn Me&Medik8 points for every successful referral. Your friends will also enjoy a discount code to use for their first order.

Orders

I made a mistake in my order. Can I amend it once it’s been submitted?

Mistakes happen – don't worry! If possible, we'll do our best to amend your order. Orders placed before 4pm Monday to Friday are processed the same day, so please contact us as soon as you can.

Do you have a discount code I can use?

Occasionally, we share discounts on selected products via our Me&Medik8 newsletter. To stay in the loop, sign up or log into your account, cick the person icon at the top right, choose 'Newsletter Subscriptions' and ensure the 'General Subscription' box is selected.

I live outside the UK. Will I have to pay import taxes and duties?

When ordering from outside the UK, you may have to pay applicable customs charges, import taxes or duties, as determined by your local authority.

How can I get bespoke skincare advice tailored to me?

For personalised advice, nothing beats a face-to-face consultation with one of our trained Medik8 professionals. Do you test on animals?

Absolutely not. We do not test on animals, nor do we ask any supplier to do so on our behalf. Developments in science mean animal testing is not required to ensure our products are safe and effective. We fully adhere to strict European guidelines, which prohibit animal testing in cosmetics, and we vigorously verify supplier compliance as an integral part of our product development process. We look forward to the day animal testing is banned for good.

Can I use Medik8 products during pregnancy or when nursing?

As a cosmetic brand, we are unable to provide specific medical advice. We strongly recommend consulting your GP or midwife for personalised guidance. Full ingredient lists are available on every Medik8 product page.

As a general precation, the main ingredient we recommend avoiding during pregnancy or nursing is vitamin A, found in retinol and retinal products like Crystal Retinal, R-Retinoate and Intelligent Retinol. For a pregancy-safe, age-defying alternative, we recommend Bakuchiol Peptides.

Are Medik8 products vegan-friendly?

Most Medik8 products are certified by The Vegan Society, as highlighted in the 'Good to Know' section on each product page. We are working quickly to validate the remainder of our products.

Since 2019, all Medik8 products have been self-certified as vegan-friendly, meaning they contain no animal-derived ingredients. To provide additional assurance, we have decided to voluntarily submit all products to The Vegan Society for independent verification and documented evidence across our end-to-end supply chain.

If you have any queries about the vegan status of a particular product, our Customer Care team will be happy to provide the latest information.

Are Medik8 products fragranced?

To create a premium, everyday skincare experience, we follow a low-to-no fragrance philosophy. Some formulas include a small amount of essential oils to provide a subtle, refined scent. Any fragrance used is at very low levels (less than 0.15%) with reduced allergens, ensuring maximum skin tolerance and minimal risk of irritation.

Do you have samples I can try?

We don't currently offer product samples, but you can test and experience our products at one of our stockists. Locate your nearest stockist here.

I think I’ve had a reaction to a Medik8 product. What shall I do?

We're very sorry to hear this. While reactions are rare, please discontinue use of the product immediately. If you purchased the product via Medik8.com, please contact our Customer Care team at hello@medik8.com or call us on (0)20 8712 6020 to discuss your concerns. If you purchased the product via your local Medik8 stockist or another online retailer, please contact them directly for advice.

How do I prime my Crystal Retinal or other airless tube?

Crystal Retinal is packaged in an advanced airless tube for optimal formula stability. Occasionally, the pump may need a little help to get started, and this process is known as priming. If no product dispenses immediately, follow these steps:

1.) Hold the tube with the pump facing downward and press the pump.

2.) Gently squeeze the tube while pressing the pump, starting from the top and moving down towards the base.

3.) Store the tube upright on its lid to allow gravity help the product move toward the pump.
