How to Use

First-time use

If you're new to Total Moisture Cleansing Gel we recommend a patch test at least 24 hours before first use. Learn how to patch test here.

Step 1

Every morning and evening, apply 2 pumps into the palm of the hand, lather and then massage into a moistened face and neck. If removing eye makeup, use gently around closed eyes.

Step 2

Rinse face with water and pat skin dry.

The cleanser maintains hydration after rinsing to prepare the skin, and the cream builds on this with multi-weight hyaluronic acid and a barrier-supporting prebiotic peptide to help strengthen and nourish the skin barrier.

Does Total Moisture Daily Cleansing Gel have a refill?

Yes. This is currently in production and we look forward to releasing this soon as part of our commitment to minimising our environmental impact.

How much should I apply?

For a thorough cleanse, we recommend 2 pumps per use.

How long should I cleanse for?

For a thorough cleansing routine, we recommend applying the gel to moistened hands, then to a damp face and neck, and working it into your skin for at least 30 seconds. If wearing makeup, concentrate efforts around your eyes.

Should I use this or Surface Radiance Cleanse?

It depends. If you are looking for an exfoliating, brightening cleanse to visibly improve signs of ageing, dullness and uneven texture, we would recommend Surface Radiance Cleanse. If you have dehydrated skin or are simply looking for an effective, hydrating cleanser, we would recommend Total Moisture Daily Cleansing Gel. They can be used on alternate days if you prefer to exfoliate less frequently, but still want to incorporate exfoliation & brightening into your cleansing routine.

Is Total Moisture Daily Cleansing Gel safe to use on my eyes?

Yes, Total Moisture Daily Cleansing Gel has been ophthalmologically tested and is suitable for use around the eyes and to remove eye makeup.

Do I need to double cleanse?

This is entirely up to you - Total Moisture Daily Cleansing Gel’s gentle yet effective formula removes daily makeup, SPF and impurities, but if you feel you need to cleanse again, it can be used twice in a row. If you’re still looking to incorporate an oil-based cleanser as the first step in your cleansing routine, we recommend pairing it with Lipid Balance Cleansing Oil.

Does Total Moisture Daily Cleansing Gel remove waterproof makeup?

While the gel is clinically proven to effectively remove daily makeup and sunscreen in one step, it is not specifically recommended for waterproof makeup. For waterproof formulas, an oil-based cleanser like Lipid Balance Cleansing Oil is recommended.
