Medik8's IT Support will be the first point of contact for technical support service requests for our friendly Teams based in Aylesbury.

Our current IT Team spends their day fielding incoming support chats, calls and online requests on behalf of our employees.

The successful candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional customer service and thrive in a fast paced environment. You are eager to help, patient and empathetic, and you love solving problems. You also know how to create and grow sustainable processes that make the job of IT easier.

In more detail your role will include:

  • Logging and resolving all IT issues received in the agreed time frame.
  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners.
  • Investigating, diagnosing and solving computer software and hardware faults
  • Maintain all IT equipment with documentation and records of software licencing
  • Build and manage relationships with all departments, ensure communication is effective.
  • Set up new starters station desks and assist with training the new staff.

What you will  bring..

  • 1-2 yrs experience in a helpdesk or technical support environment
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP .Familiarity with Google Workspace applications (Gmail/Drive/Docs/Sheets etc.)
  • Experience with Windows Desktop. Chrome OS would be a plus but is not essential
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to document complex technical issues consistently and thoroughly
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent customer service and troubleshooting abilities in a distributed-working environment
